This year’s national championship brought excitement and showcased the strength of the younger generation of climbers. Juniors especially stood out, pushing the limits of their abilities.

The lead finals were full of suspense, and the audience enjoyed incredible performances. Marko Petrović from Zagreb took the gold with an impressive climb that earned him the maximum number of points. In the women’s category, Lara Jurić dominated with her tactical approach and calm execution. The competition was well-organized, drawing praise from judges and coaches alike. It’s especially important to highlight the growing presence of young competitors from smaller climbing clubs.

The bouldering discipline also delivered thrilling duels, particularly in the youth categories. The problems were technically demanding, forcing climbers to make quick decisions and precise moves. The audience followed each attempt live, supported by expert commentary. In the cadet division, Tena Horvat stood out by flashing three out of four boulders. Results like these show that the Croatian sport climbing scene is moving in the right direction.
