IFSC ANNOUNCES 2025 WORLD CUP SERIES AND CHAMPIONSHIPS

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) has unveiled its 2025 calendar, marking the beginning of a new Olympic cycle. The season will feature 12 World Cup events and two Championships, commencing in April and concluding in September. Notably, Curitiba, Brazil, will host the first-ever IFSC World Cup event in South America, while Klagenfurt, Austria, is set to welcome the fastest Speed climbers in the world at the end of July. The season opener is expected to take place in Keqiao, China, for the second consecutive year, followed by a combination of Lead and Speed competitions in Wujiang, China, a few days later. Additionally, Bern, Switzerland, will make its long-awaited return to the World Cup Series calendar. These events highlight the IFSC’s commitment to expanding the sport’s global reach and providing climbers with diverse and challenging competitions.
